While some may consider it less suspenseful than other options in this line of reading, it highlights the heart of a small town and challenges perceptions rather than thrilling with suspense. I received my Kindle edition after midnight, and couldn't put it down! Another winner by Bill Noel. Even though Silent Night is sure to be a Holiday tradition, it's beautiful - and fun - story can be enjoyed year round. If you are familiar with the Folly Beach Mystery series, you know Bill is a master of character development. In Silent Nght, Bill provides even more in depth revelations about many of our favorite characters.
I predict Silent Night will be loved and enjoyed by his devoted fans as well as new readers. I chose to defer Silent Night as my Christmas Holiday read for this most recent season. Light hearted but inspirational and, as always with Bill Noel's work, extreme fun to experience. The cast of characters continue to entertain with freshness and good humor. The plot gently weaves a tapestry of unexpected, but meaningful responses of humankind to this Holy Season through the eyes and actions of the least likely fictional citizens of this small world on the edge of Southeastern America.
That is no longer true! Bill Noel has done it again!
If you're not familiar with the Folly Beach Mystery series, this book will make you say "I've got to read them all! This really really needs to be made into a Christmas movie!! Thank you, Bill Noel, for getting this out just for me! I received Silent Night on my Kindle on the 8th as promised and enjoying it already.
I can not put it down.!!!

I have read each one of his books and they are all amazing. They keep you trying to figure out who and what is going to happen next. His writing is about the small beach town that even if you were not born there you can see it all before your eyes. I spent my teen age years there and his writing makes me feel like I am right there in the middle of it. Each book he writes flows into the next one because of all the characters are mentioned and all the places they visit you remember from the previous book.
Plus you have added characters and amazing stories. I just can not say enough however I need to go back reading Silent Night!!!!!
Thank you Bill Noel and waiting for your next mystery. See all 43 reviews. Most recent customer reviews.

Her fans adore the blend of suspense and off-the-wall humor on display in the novels. You began your writing career as a journalist - how was it, making the leap to fiction?
Making the change from reporting to writing fiction was very natural for me as I am constantly conjuring up stories to share with others, it just takes a bit longer to get the point across when you tackle a book project. How does the South Carolina setting inform or inspire your books?
Using Folly Beach as a setting sometimes feels a bit like cheating; the characters and the story ideas are so rampant I have to sort through what to work on!
