Lots going on in the story with bandits on the run, but a pleasant enough read. The book was constantly "he said," "she said. You've successfully reported this review. I got a kick out of this story. Nordin does a great job with characterization. The two main characters are real, quirky, humorous, and likeable. It was a cute story from start to finish. The only thing I would suggest is a little more research on Alaska. There were a few incongruities, but those were minor in relation to the story. Overall, it was a good read. Khadija Doctor on Aug. I do agree with Ms. Maahs that the start was a little slow, but it gradually became very interesting. It was funny and engaging. It is completely implausible, but I loved it. Ryan is 30, and Beth is The two people they were previously in serious relationships with left them for each other. Now both of them has been single for a while with no potential mate in sight. They dislike each other due to some history in high school and college, but their parents decide they are perfect for each other.

I have read several Ruth Ann Nordin novels now. This story is categorized as a romantic comedy and I totally agree. One of the funniest moments had to have been when Ryan and Elizabeth were trying to one up each other by who could gross the other one out the most. I did think Ryan was a sweetheart. Of course through he really only read them for the sex scenes.

Last but not least, if you are looking for a romantic comedy then you have to pick up a copy of this book today. Mar 20, Colleen rated it did not like it.

It was quite cute, but it read like a fanfic. I liked the hero, Ryan, who happens to be a virgin. He such a good guy, even if he's little bit of a coward. I just didn't like her.

The writing isn't quality, it did not sport spectacular wit or charm, but it made for a cute read that is quite irregular compared the other contemporary available. I guess, it could pass off as a harlequin if there was a pregnancy or sick family member.
