Traveling as an American During Wartime.
Finding the Endless Road Chapter This book makes for easy reading and excitement on every page. I look forward to this couple's next adventure and being able to read all about their travels by bike in other parts of the world. I enjoyed this book as well as their first book.
It was great to learn how despite different cultures, language, and financial status human kindness, moroeover, human generosity is quite prevalent around this wonderful world. In addition the reader learns how tough and enduring the authors are on there travels similar to the places and people that they travelled through. Not since Into Thin Air have I read a book that was so hard to put down. Even if you can't appreciate bicycle touring you would still really enjoy the adventure aspect of this book. Can't wait to read the next in the series.
I read the first book before it was on Amazon.
I admire the courage it takes to live out your dreams no matter what other people think and be down to earth about it. However, the dryness gives way to a bit of technical and practical information for planning a trip such as this. You might get an idea of what to expect on doing a tour in South America, if you'd never done a tour or have never been to South America.
Otherwise, there's not much new or exciting information in the book. Sep 17, Mic rated it it was ok. It may be hard to believe that a book about biking through South America could be boring, but here it is. This book is too superficial to be interesting but not detailed enough to be taken as a guidbook. It feels like a checklist of things these guys said and did without much meaningful content. If you want a free copy you can have mine, but you need to come to Chile to get it.

A great story and he does not try to sell you on particular touring products. Instead of telling the reader how to tour, he explains how to by talking of his experiences. This allows the reader to take away from the book what they want. I read the first book before it was on Amazon. I admire the courage it takes to live out your dreams no matter what other people think and be down to earth about it.
