Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Book itself is great from what I have read. Two problems with the kindle edition. A The pictures do NOT project well on the actual kindle. B No table of contents which makes looking up specific topics very time consuming. One person found this helpful.

This was one of my favorite books in print, and has become one of my favorite in electronic format. The images look fantastic on iPad's Kindle app. There is a reason this book is a classic. There are pearls of wisdom in every page, as Dr.

Chew is a master educator. I can't recommend this book enough. Every resident should own it! Superb images and very concise description of all salient findings in bone radilogy. This is a great book! I am a radiologist and this book was excellent for review of interoperative fixation of fractures etc. As this book will certainly be used by trainees or practioners in fields other than radiology or orthopedics ,the author should have included labeled plain films of areas with complex anatomy such as the wrist in multiple positions etc ,rather than just referring to DISI VISI injuries etc. I would have liked more coverage of joint replacements of all types and complications thereof. My other criticism is that the print is quite small for a textbook.

Because I am highly myopic I asked my 20 year old son with excellent vision his opinion and he concurred. Overall this is a very useful book for any praciticing radiologist who must interpret orthopedic plain films,. One person found this helpful. This looks like an excellent book for studying the skeletal system and common dysfunctions. It is recommended reading for prosthetic orthotic students at EMU, and it is a bit surprising to me.

Dictionary An excelent reference for all health professionals. One person found this helpful. I find the book font to be small and the book a little tough to read through. Is there any MSK book that teaches how to read different radiographs Shoulder, knee, ankle, foot, spine, skull,etc..

Product details

Things to check on every radiograph. Loved the MSK teaching file book. My first impression was not so good, as it is now, after I read most charpters. And it was a long time we do not get good textbooks that almostly describe conventional radiology of the MSK. This book is great, because the main goal and contents, it the conventional radiographs, published images are clear and sufficient.

Describing text give good knowledge in the MSK radiology field. It is not so wide and explaining as Resnick texbook, but it still -must have- book in any radiology department with conventional radiography MSK cases load. See all 4 reviews.
